Deann Hartwein

I am so happy to be a part of the SFA family as Facilities Director and as a parent.  I graduated from Central Missouri State University and have been working with SFA since 2013.  I started as a part time teacher in our part time program for the 4 year old classroom before becoming the kindergarten teacher assistant in 2015.  It is an amazing joy to have started with our 4 year olds, helped our kindergarteners learn and grow, and now ensure our wonderful school continues to be an amazing facility for our SFA families.

My family has been a part of the St Francis church and school since we moved to Memphis in 2000. My children have attended SFA starting in the part time program when they were 2, and are now in the 8th and 6th grades.  I have seen them grow, learn, and become amazing children thanks to the teachers and staff who have helped instill the Catholic faith and Christ like life in them.  Our school has been one of the greatest blessings to our family.  Our closest family is 6 hours away, however we have found the best family friends and school friends who have become our family here.  We would not be the same without our SFA community.
