Mrs. Linda George
My name is Linda George and I am very excited to be teaching third grade at Saint Francis of Assisi. This is my 8th year in the Catholic Diocese of Memphis and my 32nd year teaching overall. I am thrilled to be at this school and I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun and adventures!
I am originally from Abilene, Texas and received my Bachelor of Education degree from Hardin-Simmons University. After a short stint in the Army, I moved to Memphis and started teaching. I am certified to teach in Tennessee and teaching is not just my job, it is my passion. I live in Cordova with my husband and my dog Gryffindor.
When I am not teaching I love to read, travel, and take long walks in the woods with my dog.
