What is Schoology?
Schoology is a top rated online learning management system used in many school districts nationwide. SFA has adopted Schoology beginning in the 2015-2016 school year.
Teachers will have the ability to post everything from grades, lecture notes and worksheets to links to videos and other online resources to the platform, making them accessible to parents as well as students at school, in class, and at home.
Teachers will also use Schoology to communicate with families and provide resources.
Teachers in grades 3-8 will post student grades as well as homework assignments and resources.
Teachers in grades PreK-2 will post classroom news and assignments.
Who can have an account?
Every student, teacher, and parent has an account reserved in the system.
Parents will receive their access codes at registration. Students in grades 3-8 will activate their accounts in the classroom.
What if I have more than one child at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School?
Schoology offers the ability for the user to link all of your children’s accounts on one page.

Do I have to have load software to my computer?
No, this service is Internet based so all you need is access to the Internet. You can check from home, work, or the library – anywhere that has access to the Internet.

No, each child has an account as well as the parents.
